Human immunodeficiency virus associated thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, a clinical conundrum
This article illustrates that in patients with HIV‐TTP who do not respond to plasma infusion, early escalation to plasma exchange may help avoid life‐threatening complications such as seizures and even death.
