Conclusion The highest productivity of publications is concentrated in journals from Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Spain. The main theme of scientific publications referred to dental implants. The quality of publications at Latin American level is low, with a predominance of case reports and review articles (level IV), and less systematic reviews and clinical trials.
