OCD:Disability in the Workplace

OCD can be debilitating, especially at work. Those whose symptoms interfere with job performance have legal protection under the ADA. While there are many things to consider before coming out at work about your condition, for some it may be the best way to protect your job. OCD can impede job performance in many ways. Someone with hand-washing compulsions may have difficulty meeting deadlines, staying at his/her desk or in meetings.
