Carnosic acid (CA), which is extracted from Rosmarinus officinalis L, protects against chronic alcoholic liver injury by affecting lipid metabolism through the SIRT1‐ChREBP pathway and by regulating reactive oxygen species generation, inflammation, and apoptosis through the SIRT1‐p66shc pathway.
