Alzheimer’s Disease – A Growing Problem

In this aging podcast, Fran Emerson, the program director for the Charleston Alzheimer’s Association, discusses with Sally Smith how she sees the future of Alzheimer’s disease and patient care. She draws on over thirty five years of experience to make her predications, as she has seen great progress in modern understanding of the disease. She notes every person’s duty to lead a healthy lifestyle in order to reduce risk of dementia as well as the importance of pushing government representatives to provide enough resources for dementia research. Ms. Emerson focuses on the vast number of people in America effected by Alzheimer’s disease.
