Towards standardization: Analysis of specific modifiable perioperative process measures among neonates undergoing arterial switch operation for transposition of the great arteries with intact ventricular septum – A mini-pilot for the California Congenital Cardiac Consortium

The California Congenital Cardiac Consortium (CCC) was conceived to define the variation and scope of care for neonates undergoing cardiac operations at seven participating California centers and to determine whether standardization could improve quality and value. This mini-pilot study analyzes defined perioperative practices and outcomes of neonates undergoing arterial switch operation (ASO) for transposition of the great arteries with intact ventricular septum (TGA/IVS).
