OC06_03 An International Pilot Study of the Barriers and Facilitators to the Use of Evidence Based Drugs in the Secondary Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases
Rates of evidence-based cardiovascular medication (EBM) use globally are sub-optimal, and are poorest in low-income countries. An understanding of the barriers and facilitators of EBM use among countries of different incomes may allow innovative approaches to be developed to optimize cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention.
