OC07_02 Feasibility of Practice Nurses Screening for Atrial Fibrillation Using Smartphone ECG During Flu-Vaccinations
Stroke risk is high in people with unknown atrial Fibrillation (AF). Screening identifies unknown AF in 1.5% of people ≥65 years. Although recommended in international guidelines, screening is not routinely implemented. Incorporating screening with flu-vaccination presents an ideal opportunity to detect AF in large numbers in a medical setting.
