OC09_03 The Association Between Aortic Stiffness and Epicardial Fat Volume: A Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Study

Cardiac Magnetic Resonace (CMR) can accurately evaluate aortic stiffness by determination of aortic pulse wave velocity (PWV). It can also determine the amount of epicardial fat. Both parameters are associated with cardiovascular risk.
