Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in Northern Nigeria and many other parts of the world. Although right ventricular (RV) systolic dysfunction was found to be common in PPCM, RV diastolic dysfunction (RVDD) and its determinants have not been previously described.
