PS090 Association Between Gender and Mortality in Patients With Established Cardiovascular Disease
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a major cause of mortality worldwide. In longtime series of patients with CVD, this mortality is around 25% (14 years) and effect of gender still controversial. Some studies report that absolute incidence of CVD-related deaths is higher in women than men. However, other studies describe higher mortality rates for male gender.
