PS131 The Paradoxical Association of Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio With Coronary Artery Disease in High Risk Young and Older Patients
Thrombocytosis and inflammation are vital elements in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. The platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) is a novel biomarker that combines these two parameters and has been shown to be associated with CVD. Few studies have examined PLR and its relationship to angiographically demonstrated CAD.
