PS197 Effect of Syncopal Spells on Neurocognitive Function in Patients With Vasovagal Syndrome

Syncope is an effect of temporal, global hypoperfusion of the brain. It is known that even short episodes of circulatory arrest may lead to brain injury. Repeated hypoperfusion of brain causing syncope may lead to some impairment of neurocognitive functions in patients with vasovagal syncope (VVS).
