Angina, nitrates and erectile dysfunction

A common vascular pathology means that many patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) also suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED). The use of oral nitrates in these patients excludes them from the help that a PDE5 inhibitor (PDE5I) could offer.
