Summerworks Performance Festival – Extra Live Performances

The SummerWorks Performance Festival is committed to accessibility for all audiences. If you require special assistance, please let us know ahead of time. All of our venues are wheelchair accessible, but some, including the Scotiabank Studio Theatre and Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace, will require prior notice. In addition, a number of productions within the Festival are accessible to audience members who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, or non-English speaking. Extra Live Performances: This year, SummerWorks is introducing Extra Live Performances. Companies within the Festival have been encouraged to designate performances as Extra Live. Extra Live Performances are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. Unless otherwise noted, these performance dates and times will have a relaxed attitude to noise and movement, with patrons being able to freely enter and exit the space. Some performances will have house lights remain on for the duration of the performance; others will feature subdued effects. GO TO THE WEBSITE NOW
