How low should you go? The latest on targeted temperature management

Abstract: Targeted temperature management can improve neurologic outcomes and survival rates for adults with return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) after cardiac arrest. Evidence suggests that actively maintaining the patient's temperature at 36° C (96.8° F) instead of 33° C (91.4° F) after ROSC results in fewer complications and may be a better option for select high-risk patients.
