Yay! Helen’s Leftovers…

Helen-2-Go! I did a bad thing today! My father doesn’t like me to call their home landline as it wakes up my mother.  I forgot and mom picked up the phone.  My father promptly jumped into the conversation telling my mother he would put the leftovers on the porch. “You just stay in bed,” he told her. “I will put the plates out for Andrew.” A little caveat – I had already gotten my Cokes for the day and dad put out six extras and another pack of cigarettes.  I don’t know if this was intentional or not. Probably a little bit of “old timers” going on there.
