Estimating the effect of endogenous dopamine on baseline [11C]‐(+)‐PHNO binding in the human brain

We estimate the sensitivity of the agonist radioligand [11C]‐(+)‐PHNO for quantifying endogenous dopamine levels at D2/3 receptors in the living human brain. As proof of concept, we use [11C]‐(+)‐PHNO to estimate the in vivo dissociation constant (Kd) for dopamine at D2/3. These results are in accordance with in vitro findings.
