Scientists find genetic clue to irritable bowel syndrome

Is irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) caused by genes, diet, past trauma, anxiety? Each one is thought to play a role, but now, for the first time, experts have reported a defined genetic problem that causes a subset of IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME. The research was published in the log Gastroenterology.
