Holy Crap! I Used Up All My Rest Days For the Next Month

Hello again, SELF readers! It's me, your half-marathon virgin checking in. Sorry to leave you hangin' for so long, but I've got an excuse -- even if it's not really a good one: I haven't been running as much as I should. In fact, last week I only stayed true to my schedule for two of my six running days. For those of you who haven't trained before using a race coach or training app like Nike+ Running (no biggie, BTW!), these programs help you literally slate out your weekly plan, interspersing rest days with runs as needed. My biggest problem, though, is that I've already used all my rest days up. (Insert thumbs down emoji.) And let me remind you that I'm running the Nike Women's Half DC on April 27th, which is a dwindling seven weeks away. Ruh roh.
