Where the Sun Don’t Shine…

And we are not talking about the far side of the moon… “What did you tell your mother?” dad said chuckling as we walked across the parking lot to Kroger. I had alluded to our little spat earlier in the day. “I told her to stick those Cokes in contention where the sun don’t shine,” I replied. “And then I turned off my phone.” My father laughed uproariously. “Your mother never could get the best of you,” my father told me. “She never could. You could always blow her out of the water.” “We are just alike,” I said to dad. “And I know how to get under her skin.” Mom timidly called me later to make sure I could drive her to the bookstore and then to Sonic for dessert. As Easy as Sunday Morning… Grocery shopping went fine.  A dual slice Edward’s pie package captured my attention so I am fixing to go eat a piece of Reese's’ crème pie. I also got lots of Ramen noodles as thy were on sale for 5 for a $1. One thing I am interested in is the Denali chocolate moose tracks ice cream I bought. I am letting it soften as we speak on my kitchen counter. I might have a bowl before bed.
