I Need a Dose of Woebegone…

I went back to bed at 9:30am and slept until almost three.  I guess my body needed the rest.  I doesn’t help that I am having lots, lots and lots of mental illness symptoms today.  I am finding it hard to concentrate on my usual time wasters like reading on the web and video games.  It is the neighborly way… “How sublimely refreshing,” I thought when I arrived home from getting my sodas this morning. My new neighbors waved and said hello as they walked from their car. An elderly man was walking with a cane.  I hurriedly walked over and shook their hands.  I told them if there is anything I could do do then just ask me. “What kind of treats do you like?” I asked the middle aged woman. I was going to the grocery store to buy them an edible house warming present. The only thing that bugs me about them is that they leave their dog chained to the side step railings and it is downright cold today at 49 degrees. If their dog barks then so does Maggie as well.  It makes me smile. It’s kind of like Maggie’s first alert system. The dog must not be house trained. Headed to Wal-Mart… More money doesn't always mean better.  I received a pair of very expensive Skullcandy Skullcrusher headphones for Christmas and they are absolutely terrible in sound production.  They have this gimmick of a AA battery to power subwoofers and they absolutely eat the batteries.  My Wal-Mart special Sony pair I have sound wonderful at only...
