Ravi Kumar 3D Printing technology made life of designer easy in case of fabricating the designed objects. 3D printing has entered in to almost all the industries in the recent years. Especially in case of medical industry the use of this technology has increased drastically in the past few years. 3D printed medical models are used for preplanning the complex medical surgeries. The current study is regarding a patient who meet with accident in which the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) joint got collapsed and it is very complex to construct through conventional way in which surgeon has to analyze the damaged portion through the CT images. This CT data can be printed as a physical model in 3D printing with help of medical software's. The surgeon can plan the surgery procedure in advance like where to place the distracter or to cut what extent of bone on 3D printed model. This 3D printed model reduces time, cost and complexity of the surgery.
