Gonococcal tenosynovitis in two HIV-infected heterosexual men: delayed diagnoses following negative urine nucleic acid amplification testing

We present two cases where consideration of, and investigation for, disseminated Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection provided the answer when routine inpatient diagnostics had been unsuccessful.
