Apps for Health: Prescribing Apps for Patients at the Point of Care (Douglas Maurer DO, MPH, FAAFP)

This is a presentation intended for faculty development for residents and faculty on what medical apps for smartphones are "best" to prescribe at the point of care to patients. The presentation covers "the most current evidence" (as of April 2016) for patient apps. The presentation is case-based and participants should use their smart devices. The accompanying handout includes the recommended apps to prescribe for sleep, weight loss, fitness, mental health issues, etc.
