Influence of enamel matrix derivative on healing of root surfaces after bonding treatment and intentional replantation of vertically fractured roots

ConclusionWhen bonding and replanting tooth roots after a vertical fracture, the application of EMD was effective in regenerating cementum on root surfaces from which periodontal ligament had been lost in the area around the fracture line and in reducing the incidence of root resorption.
