Comparison of the standard and speckle tracking echocardiographic features of wild-type and mutated transthyretin cardiac amyloidoses

Conclusion
Patients with ATTRwt are characterized by lower LVEF, LV basal, and LV mid-radial strains compared with patients with ATTRm. LVEF and LV radial strain are useful in distinguishing between ATTRwt and ATTRm when TTR has been proved in biopsy specimens.
