Postoperative analgesia needed after cesarean section delivery with and without local anesthetic wound infiltration

Conclusion: This study concluded that infiltration of the surgical wound of a cesarean section with 0.5% bupivacaine after general anesthesia provided a significant degree of analgesia as shown by the smaller amount of pethidine or NSAID (diclofenac Na) consumption and earlier onset of lactation.
