The second issue devoted to pitfalls in imaging the abdomen and pelvis is again a comprehensive review by experts on the subject. Many pathologies that can cause missteps or errors in diagnosis are addressed. The issue is rounded out by an article discussing the role and application of PET-CT, an invaluable technique in evaluating oncologic patients with malignancies in the abdomen and pelvis, as well as the current literature regarding the use of contrast in patients with chronic kidney disease.
