ACR 2015™ to Feature CMS Deputy Administrator for Innovation & Quality at Economics Forum

Patrick Conway, MD, MSc, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Deputy Administrator for Innovation and Quality and Chief Medical Officer, will address national health care changes that could affect radiology at the May 18 ACR 2015™ Economics Forum. The forum is part of the advocacy, economics and health policy sessions offered the College’s all-new, all radiology annual meeting, May 17-21 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington, DC. “We are proud to have Dr. Conway shed light on emerging national health care changes that may affect radiology. His presentation is part of the wealth of information that ACR 2015 attendees will get regarding the forces shaping medicine and how they can help shape those forces affecting their practices,” said Geraldine McGinty, MD, MBA, FACR, chair of the ACR Commission on Economics. The economics forum, conducted in two May 18 sessions, will provide an overview of the economic factors affecting radiology and American College of Radiology (ACR) Commission on Economics efforts to address those factors.
