Beneficial effect of bilateral native nephrectomy as complete denervation on left ventricular mass and function in renal transplant recipients.

CONCLUSIONS    In a long-term follow-up of patients after kidney transplantation, the bilateral native nephrectomy before transplantation was associated with a lower LVMI and LAVI as well as a lower grade of LVDD.
