This one day conference offers you the chance to network and debate the latest issues and trends on alcohol harms, policy and strategy with the UK’s leading experts. New evidence will be presented exploring patterns of alcohol use across the UK, alcohol risks and harm, developing interventions, and reflections on the relationship between alcohol research and evidence-informed policy. Our themes will tackle four key questions: • How can we better measure the relationship between alcohol consumption and a range of potential harms? • How can we better understand patterns of consumption across society? • How can we test the impact of research on alcohol policy, and alcohol policies on consumption and harm? • How can research help us measure the effects of interventions on problem drinkers?
