Managing Glenoid Bone Loss in Primary Total Shoulder Arthroplasty

Treatment of shoulder osteoarthritis with primary anatomic total shoulder arthroplasty may be challenging in the setting of posterior glenoid bone loss. This paper describes considerations and techniques in the management of significant glenoid wear. The authors’ preferred surgical technique is presented.
