A disease around the corner
Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) outbreak in the Republic of Korea (ROK) was taken by surprise to the world for its scale because ROK has been regarded to have one of the most advanced medical and public health system in the world. Now a question is arisen what would be the next candidate affecting Korea among infectious diseases. Considering the climate change and vector existence in Korea, Dengue Fever is the most probable disease to affect Korea in a different aspect.
