Beneficial effects of previous exercise training on renal changes in streptozotocin-induced diabetic female rats

In conclusion, our study shows that regular aerobic exercise especially performed previously to induction of diabetes mellitus improved metabolic control and has renoprotective action on the diabetic kidney.
