ACTH stimulation tests for the diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency: Systematic review and meta-analysis.

CONCLUSION: Both high and low dose ACTH stimulation tests had similar diagnostic accuracy. Both tests are adequate to rule in, but not rule out, primary and secondary adrenal insufficiency.
