Experimental Drug May Help PTSD

An experimental drug that may help PTSD is being studied at MIT’s Picower Institute for Learning and Memory. Scientist Li-Huei Tsai and colleagues are studying a drug that is classified as an HDAC2 inhibitor that acts to increase plasticity in the brain and allows the formation of powerful new memories that may override memories previously formed.
