Evolution of the incidence of pollen grains and sensitivity to pollen in the city of Elche (Spain)

Conclusion: Increased pollen counts in the environment may have led to increased sensitization to pollen. Possible causes may be due to changes in the weather, although the improvements of the extracts used in skin testing, increased air pollution, and/or climate change are factors to consider.
