Cognitive depression prevention for at‐risk teens found effective

Can adolescent depression be prevented? Possibly, given the fact that if adolescents' parents have a history of depression, they are at greater risk for the disorder — and for functional impairment. That means these teens can be selectively targeted for an intervention.
