The effect of different speeds of centrifugation on platelet-rich plasma preparation

Conclusion: Laboratory preparation of PRP, especially that obtained without centrifugation, or using lower centrifugation speed, yields higher platelet concentration. Centrifugation at low speed is preferable as it saves time, avoids sample contamination, and preserves platelets.
