An appropriate shock of the wearable cardioverter-defibrillator in an outpatient setting

We report the first case of appropriate shock therapy using the WCD in an outpatient setting in Japan. We describe the case of a 22-year-old-woman who received the first case of successful appropriate WCD shock therapy in an outpatient setting in Japan.
