Impact of parental MS on childhood development
A Canadian study found that having a parent with MS did not affect a 5 year old's physical health and wellbeing, social competence, emotional maturity, language and cognitive development, and communication skills and general knowledge. However, having a parent with mental health issues (inc anxiety or depression) did have a negative effect.
