Impact of maternal smoking during pregnancy on microvasculature in childhood. The Generation R Study
Fetal exposure to maternal smoking is associated with an adverse cardiovascular risk profile in later life. Early microvasculature adaptations might be part of the underlying mechanisms for these associations.
