Study of immunohistochemical expression of prostate stem cell antigen in prostatic carcinoma
Conclusion: PSCA expression levels increase from BPH through LGPIN and HGPIN to Pca. Thus, PSCA might represent an ideal marker to discriminate between malignant and benign glands. Moreover, it may possess prognostic utility and may be a promising molecular target for the diagnosis and treatment of prostatic adenocarcinoma.
