The association between periodontal disease and metabolic syndrome among outpatients with diabetes in Jordan.

CONCLUSION: Patients with MetS displayed more severe and extensive periodontitis. Having other MetS components additional to diabetes increased the odds of having periodontitis. PMID: 26280008 [PubMed]
