A hidden cause of troublesome finger pain in an adult

We present a case of middle-aged man with agonizing pain under the nail bed of ring finger. Clinical diagnosis was made by the history, localized tenderness, and MRI findings. Excision of nail bed allowed us to remove the tumor from subungal bed and complete resolution of the symptoms. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of a glomus tumor.
