A Complicated Carotid-Cavernous Sinus Fistula Case Treated With Endovascular Coil Embolism

In this rare case, we report a complicated direct carotid-cavernous fistula, with a fistula at the clinoidal segment (C5) of the internal carotid artery, supplied directly by the internal carotid artery and indirectly by the external carotid artery branch, and successfully treated by coil embolism using balloon remodeling technique.
