Publication date: Available online 15 July 2015 Source:International Journal of Mycobacteriology Author(s): Sbai Mohamed Ali, Benzarti Sofien, Boussen Monia, Maalla Riadh Tuberculosis is a major public health problem in developing countries. Flexor tenosynovitis of the fingers constitutes an exceptional tuberculosis localization (Gabl et al., 1997; Senda et al., 2011) [1,2]. Unusual presentations, such as tuberculous tenosynovitis, often go undetected and are associated with a diagnostic and therapeutic delay, especially when bacteriological research proves to be negative. Here, we report a case of tuberculous flexor tenosynovitis of the hand.
