Implications of 2015 Budget on Graduate Entry Medicine

'Currently, students from families with annual incomes of £25,000 or less get the full grant of £3,387 a year...from 2016/17 academic year, we will replace maintenance grants with loans for new students...' [BBC] So it seems that in years 2-4 the tuition fee grant will be replaced by a loan, adding an additional 10K of debt onto the cost of GEM. Is this correct? And is there any other impications in the budget that could affect GEM courses? Many thanks.
