Haemochromatosis and dementia: cause or contributor?
Haematological conditions, including haemochromatosis, have been reported as predictors of cognitive decline in their own right. Here, the authors describe a case of
accelerated cognitive decline in a patient newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia and the possible effect of haemochromatosis on the patient's dementia progression.
